Thank David
i found out that for the best result the filter must be used twice
For some reason more more the value for Level ,the darker is the final result to the point that i wonder if limit the range.

I have already a first version ready but i am bit shame of how is coded (i forgot how handle and repeat loops...so i just paste again the same snippet)

PS
the filter is even fast but i will add a option to slow it down:
I like combined with a Graphic Boost preset but that has price will slow down...

HERE THE FILTER on same indian sadhu

SAME + GRAPHIC BOOST Preset (carve)...it really make pop out almost in 3D the effect

Image
[G'MIC] ;GB;-carved ; -gimp_graphic_boost3 1.62602,2.84553,0,1.30081,14,0,1,0.5,0.894309,4.06504,0,1,0,1,1,0.5,0.45,1 by PhotoComiX, on Flickr

SAME but for a different GRAPHIC BOOST Preset no so depth as before anyway...
