Just made this at the very last minute for a weekly challenge on DA's #deviantdeadlines with the theme "Mother nature." More of a sketch than anything.
Not much time to refine things, alas - basically just painting in MyPaint followed by cropping and some touchup in GIMP.

And I can testify that is truly and accusing look. I get that same face from my wife like 4 out of the 7 day of the week! So, the expression is authentic!

Can I ask why you won't be returning to it? I got the "Mother Hen" vibe with all the feathers. Are the red and blue colors representative of hot/cold or politics, etc?

Won't return to it because it's well ... not much to return to. As you say one might maybe use it for inspiration later, but that's about it.
