I took this with my camera from the side of my house...a very special story for a very special marigold, the highlighting is very profound in the way it came out.

I love how that is cropped and blended out! I have forgotten which filter that is, but I remember downloading it and trying it out.

Tis the FloodFill Transparency I have been playing with it a lot this weekend. I did a sharpen redux and a dodge burn beforehand, sometimes hiding the burn will allow the subject to truly blend into the background where you can't tell where either stops/starts...i did that effect on some online magazine shots I did this weekend.

Nice adaptation of the Floodfill filter. I think your subtle use of this filter is much more appealing for this application and keeps the focus on the subject matter rather than the background effects.
