looking now the first WIP the images look awful...maybe that was the reason for only one comment (i love comments included criticism..) anyway i believe to have found what was wrong.

..the bigger "Flying vegetable" still looks cheesy but the little ones around start to be cool,
and even if the BG was not perfect it give me idea for the others
