Large DA version (Recommended!)

This is another in my "... Of Trolls" series, all of which can be found in my DA gallery. Yes, she does have that much hair.

This is going to be a gift so I'm looking for critique in case there's something that need fixing before sending this to the printers.

From scratch, using MyPaint and GIMP.

Updated: Added some more greenery to the stone, changed anatomy a bit; more texturing work and a bit reshading. Thanks for the comments so far!

Nice! At first I didn't realize that she was naked because of the green skin, lol. The only thing that draws my eye is the coloring/shading in the hip area. It almost looks as if she is wearing sheer, yellow knickers. I love the tail jewelry and hair.

There's that sweet face again. There's something so very appealing about her smile. Lovely. I wouldn't change a thing about it.

I really like the reddish flares at her fingertips.

I'm not sure if I think this is a good or bad thing actually. ;) But I might tone down the yellow highlights a bit.

Yes, it's fun with a troll that do care about her looks. :)

I think flowers at the left bottom might look a bit cramped ... but possibly along the edge of the stone, not sure - I'll try it out to see how it looks.

Yes, I use a tablet for drawing. This could be done with the mouse too, but it would take me roughly twice the time or more I imagine.

I keep forgetting this is not GIMPtalk where I've already told everyone about MyPaint.;) Here are three posts from GT that might be interesting:
http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/mypaint-0 ... it=MyPaint - my mini review of MyPaint 0.8
http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/water-in- ... it=MyPaint - a tutorial explaining my workflow when combining GIMP and MyPaint
http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 37&t=47174 - A sequence of images showing an image from beginning to end created in MyPaint and GIMP

(Heh, from those links one might think lush green landscapes are the only things that I do ... ;))

Thanks again for the comments people!

The perspective, the lighting, the color values, and the depth and composition are excellent. Well done Griatch.....

nekkid green girls.... someone has been watching too many star trek reruns! It's really nice work, I wish I had talent in that area. I'm really good at getting computers to do what I want but I have the artistic talent of a cabbage. I've always been amazed at the artwork on fantasy books like dragons and monsters and scantily clad princesses. I've been wanting a tablet but decided it would be wasted money. I'm quite good at CAD work, I got an A+ in it in college but even my stick men look dismal. Thanks for posting it though, I never tire of nice work or nekkid green girls

PS, I went and grabbed Mypaint, that looks like it might be handy and fun to play with, thanks a lot.

Updated the image after feedback around the web: Changed her anatomy somewhat, made her stone somewhat more comfortable to lie on as well as improved her skin and many small details all over. Thanks for the feedback!
