This time I played a bit more with Mandelbulber - and drew in the other details.

This time Mara has a friend who just may come to her rescue in time... but perhaps she was trying, and failed, to rescue someone else?

That's incredible Merrack! Is Mara's friend in the picture? I see a hooded figure behind her but that might be an accident.

PC inspired me to play with fractals some more

My mandelbulbs are nowhere near as complex as PC's, but I like to add my own twists by drawing in my own details.



Her friend is to the right of the light beam. His head is out of focus - perhaps this is the hooded figure? He really has blondish hair, but I think the blob section blurs it out and makes it look more brown.

In retrospect, I don't really like the overall layout. It seems like two halves instead of one picture. Plus, I didn't leave enough room for two characters.

I see her now. No the hooded figure I saw was part of the flame above Mara's friend.

Oh I just saw the hooded figure! That was completely an accident... he seems to have sneaked in there.

Gotta be careful of these ethereal visitors!
