This was intended to be another speedpaint of a thunderstorm - but I just kept adding things and it wasn't finished until 368 minutes later. I had a photo I took from an airplane that I used as a reference. In a bit of absentmindedness, I copied part of the wing. I turned it into a balcony, and from there it became a sort of city in the skies.

I actually meant to include that video link in my post... especially since I had a thread asking all those questions about making these videos. :)

After a bit of time away from the project, I now think I can do better with the architecture of the two close-by structures. There are some perspective mistakes. That can be easily fixed - but some of the structures PhotoComix came up with in Waiting for the Doctor reminded me of the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture I grew up with. (My dad was a big fan, and I used to want to be an architect before I got into mathematics). I really like how the background came out, but I may end up redoing the buildings :mrgreen: .
