Having filled a circular selection with a metallic gradient, I ran selection bevel on it then repeatedly shrank the selection and repeated selection bevel. Afterwards I played with MathMap/distorts/enhanced pond followed by G'MIC thin brush smoothing. Enhanced pond gives some incredible design shapes.

This was an earlier one that I drosted.

Going to have to play with enhanced pond since it did give a cool reflective quality to your disk Erisian. And you just know how much I like the droste result too. ;)

@L
it is me or gmic droste is very different from the mathmap one ?
i just get effect of double mirror and works only with rectangular images (MM droste would work with any other shapes )

Yeah; G'MIC droste gives you the classic square result whereas Mathmap's Droste defaults to the spiral. Both are droste though; just different result. You can sort of mimic the spiral in G'MIC by using the angle slider and stuff, but it's a lot of work. :)
