In Lysergica is almost time for the Holy Bulbs Harvest

Image

...Well is not really a Harvest , of harvest remain only the name and the symbolic date

Image

The Holy Bulbs are not only holy but also quite smart , so smart to convince the explorers that a friendly symbiotic relation was the most advantageous agreement for both races

The Pioneers of Lysergica were mostly farmers of Hemp, Holy mushroom, Cactus and other Psychoactive plants , forced to escape from the planet after a series of new Prohibition Laws against tobacco, alcohol, and any kind of psychoactive plant or substance .

Obviously such huge bulbs so rich of the most delicious psychoactive substance and even with a promising a smell and taste were very attractive and the first encounter ended with the dramatic departure of a few bulbs , that after several experiments ended in a frying pot

Luckily for both Lysergica psychoactive plants have their way to communicate and that group of explorers very emphatic , even more when stoned

And so come the vision and the dreams and in the dreams and visions was proposed the Pact :
If sliced or roasted to be eaten they would have forced horrible bad trips as revenge and already they changed the metabolism to become a deadly poison

but they could offer much if respected and considered as alley to protect

No more bulbs should be harmed , but from them on Humans should no more waste their precious organic fertilizer, but preserve and bring to them as daily offering , better if with a bit of sprayed water...and good music too, plants like music and Lysergica Psychoactive bulbs even more

Since all had exactly the same visions the offer was taken seriously

From them not a single gram of human **** is wasted, all is piped down till the Holy Bulbs fertilizer tanks in the caves ... and when some visitors come the bulbs are ready to spill and generously offer the most delicious psychoactive resins

-------------------------

the Holy Bulbs are also very moody and their mood reflect in the colors that may shift very quickly

Hmmm... I think it would be most interesting to stroll among those bulbs and perhaps enjoy a vision or two. Those are gorgeous, PhotoComix.

thank for the nice comments

Glad you like, i think i will develop more the narrative and i have some more renders ready some maybe even better

I had a sleepless night, now i go for a Coffee and cigarette (well to smoke that cigarette after a good coffee while reading with the newspaper i should make a nice walk in the greenery more or less 1.5Km...it seems a good compromise for my health)

But when back if i don't fall asleep i want polish and extend narrative and illustrations

Thanks ...in the while i collected all the material , there is much more and i found how to improve also the narrative (at least i hope)

It is also a good test for my new "Scale Down Neat" gmic filter :
a lot of 4800x3600 images to be scaled down to 2400X1800 and 1600x1200 for DA and to 800x600 for the forum

not sure if open a new tread... in the while the first scaled down render is ready..

Wow! I want to stroll down that pathway and see what's around the corner. Superb, PhotoComix. I love what you are doing here.

If you are using your new Scale Down Neat G'MIC filter on those images, it really does a great job.

yes i am using it :yes
even planning to adapt to the gmic command line, now would be handy process the whole folder

actually a load several as new layers, then i run gmic with input "all layers" and output new image, and last i save the images

Speed up, but i can't load too much 4800X3600 images as layers, more i would like the output directly saved instead then loaded in gimp at risk to overload
Will be much quicker open the command line and just give input and output paths and the command

In theory adapt the filter to gmic command line is really trivial, in practice i still must try
