A few days ago I was going through my old "treasure" things and found a pin badge that was given to me by Ken Dryden about 30 years ago around time of his Hall of fame induction. I was a kid back then. The badge is all scratched and not that glossy, so I decided to "restore" it....digitally.

Very nice. That looks like those enamel pins.

Very nice K1TesseraEna. I remember Ken Dryden, he is now a PC in the House of Commons...from hockey to Politician,

You're right, O. It's a tiny (about 7x15 mm) enamel pin badge and I tried to reproduce some little imperfections it has.

Thank you, molly. Oh, turns out, I got some connections in politics :hehe

You've done a really good job of that K1TesseraEna. The gloss is spot on.

The Canadian pin came out great. I liked Dryden as a hockey player. I haven't heard much about him since he's been a Politician so I guess that means he's doing OK.

Thank you, Odinbc! This is my first work here.
I didn't spend much time doing it, my main focus was on the leaf itself and small details to reproduce imperfections the real badge has.
I think I have achieved that (small details) - white areas around leaf have some smudges of red enamel. Red colors faded out around
the edges of leaf and petiole. Here it seems to give it a feeling of enamel protrusion expanding from the edges to the center, just like in real badge.
But the real find was using samj's [GMIC Dessin peinture] filter which gave the whole image realistic texture. Thanks samj!
