Just a lil sth to do while I was bored again. LOL
I partially blame Erisian because he gave me an urge to play with Gimp. LOL

mokonafan: it's always good to see some of your work - maybe you should get bored more often after all ;) ? i love how deep that iris is looking, but perhaps the reflection is a bit overdone? also, i think the eye looks a bit uneven and the lower part of the eye could use a little more definition.
did you too work without outlining first? in that case, you're just as scary as erisian :hehe. i don't think i could paint anything without at least a few lines to guide me.

That's beautiful. I love the way you did the iris.

Really nice and well porportioned, the colours are good and the detail is excellent, the only thing I would be picky about is the fact the lower eyelid dosen't appear to have any lashes.

But really well done.

speaking of lashes, I do believe the top lid lashes should be longer and not quite so thick, they are a bit like fur.

Normally I use guide-lines but this time I didn't.
I had to use a mouse so it looks a little weird yeah. XD
Thank you for the comment!

@Erisian:
Thank you!

@ he4rty:
I have a hard time with eye-lashes...Yeah I know they looks weird! Which would take me to 2-ton's point that it looks like fur, I know. D:

Thank you for the comments! :D

I have a hard time with lashes too. In fact I never paint them these days - I just use a fuzzy brush to give the overall impression.

I'll agree that iris was better, but I used a tablet so it was easier, I drew this with a mouse so...it will be not as good cause of it.
Those brushes might come in handy!
The blood vessels were meant for when a person cries for a wile...Not to depress anybody but I've noticed if I cried hard for a long time my eyes got totally red...

@ Erisian: I normally do the same thing too. lolol!

Thank you for the comments! :D
