It looks really good! I don't think the frame does the painting justice, though. It looks like a marble texture just placed into a rectangle selection and doesn't look very good. Hope you don't mind my saying so, by the way. ;) But the painting itself is stupendous!!

Nice work Mike. Am I correct in guessing this was a photo with filters added? I like the frame but it clashes with the painting.

OK. Here's the answer to the questions:

My wife painted the image based upon a photograph I found on the internet:

My frame script wasn't working when I posted the image so I used a really poor substitute.

The actual painting is canvassed but unframed.

Here is a frame I made using a bit more time and care, and similar to the one she ordered:

I wish I could paint ... alas, not one of my talents.
