i seen a picture of a scene from a christmas cartoon and thought about trying to draw it with my computer using gimp....

here is the picture that i found on line..

and here is my drawing of it minus the characters (mickey mouse and pluto) in the scene...all i did was the window...and added the words "merry christmas". i drew this with my mouse using gimp 2.6....

Hope you saved it as xcf layers. You may want to put something in that window.

Very nice rdgracer71. Good idea of O's, if you kept the xcf, you could lower the opacity of the windows and put something in behind the glass. lots of options.

well no i didn't save it as a xcf. if i ever wanted to put something in the window i could always re-do it...it's not that hard to do.....but thanks guys for your comments....

I don't often watch the tutorial videos on YouTube but I thought that was a good one. I liked the author's presentation style. Maybe I'm missing out by not checking more of them out :)
