It was such a busy week...you know Xmas coming, a lot of greetings to wrote ,send, and presents for children , parents , colleagues

And was almost the Eve when i remember of old Uncle Randolph !
Old Uncle Randolph is very old ,he looks about eighty-eight, but he looks so from when i was eight, and also my grandfather told me that old Uncle Randolph looks eighty-eight from as far he could remember

I know may seems weird but has a scientific explanation, poor Uncle Randolph is very distract and the more get old more pass most of his time in a dreamlike state...old Uncle Randolph never had a good memory so is not too surprising he always forgot to age.

But you may have heard of Uncle Randolph when was young had many adventures some even a series of novels of Philly , now i can't remember the full name of Philly but was writer of some success ,to the point that some of his old book could be still found in good libraries...i hope doesn't seems a shameless plug give here the list taken from old Uncle Randolph facebook page

Quote:
"The Statement of Randolph Carter" (1919)
"The Unnamable" (1923)
"The Silver Key" (1926)
"The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" (1926-1927)
"The Case of Charles Dexter Ward" (1927)
"Through the Gates of the Silver Key" (1933)
"Out of the Aeons" (1933)

Now i promised to Uncle Randolph the Book , not the original of course but at least a copy loyal to the original...but no luck in the Megastores or even in the most renewed libraries of the City !

So i had to go in search of the Hamlin junk-shop:
Hamlin is one of those shopkeepers always trying to avoid taxes and invoices , so should not be a surprise that his licence was retired long ago,
Till i was sure he would try to open the same , taking profit as usual of the confusion of the Xmas shopping days

And finally i found his shop and i could get in, as usual was really full of junk !...pure junk !

And i even had to select and bargain the price of some that junk...and pay !

But you known Hamlin , only clients are allowed to exit from the backdoor of his shop, and i was there only for get to the Portal of his back-door

I almost got lost before find the right lateral exit as you may see in the photo the exit is that point of light at the end of the tunnel

Image

A long way , initially the path was easy to follow ..

But sometimes the path was interrupted and was not easy find a way around the abysses , without the help of the GSM because there the cursed smartphone refused to work ... damn !

Image

then i should have a wrong turn ending in really strange places...

Image

Image

But finally i had the relief to see the familiar shape of the Forbidden Temples of Metalzaroth get closer and closer

Image

Image

From there was easy even if i had to make a detour to avoid the Patrols of Gnurnl , they are too pedantic about Visa and i was not sure that my old Uncle Visa was still valid...also i don't looks yet 88 and that could raise suspicions...

Luckily the Gnurls have no jurisdiction on the Paths for Cybola ... yes was a detour but was more safe then a conflict with Gnurls Patrols ,and must be said that the landscape deserve a view

After a short break in Cybola (also for a good breakfast ) finally i was there

well ,almost there

but i could feel i was getting closer

and finally here i found the Necronomicon ! :yes

Now the only problem is getting back in time for Xmas...i fear to be already a bit late and is a long way back...

wow PC, some great new pieces, i love the first two and the last five ones the most !

it reminds me a bit of the B.P.R.D. story, in which the team of supernatural agents invade the caves of hollow earth and find these archaic and mysterious machines

I don't know what's cooler, the images you present here, or the story you present them with. I like that there is always an insight into what's going through your mind when you create these. A lot of fractal art out there doesn't give me this feeling, you know?
