EDIT- WARNING
Uploading this series of images i did a serious error, :gaah instead then the images downsized for GimpChat i uploaded the original 2048X1536 wallpapers, all at very high res :hoh

So the Bad news is that the page may take VERY long to load, and i have no time to correct
The Good new is that contains a lot of Wallpapers ,huge but of a quality sufficient to allow downscale to adapt the size at any 4:3 desktop :jumpclap

Welcome to a new tour in the Lyesergica subterranean :paint

here we are just under a local manifestation of the Yggdrasil,...the word Yggdrasil may be poorly translated in" World Tree " and appear in several form in many myth and legend even if with different names:
Yggdrasill (or in a more recent form Yggdrasil ) was the name used in the Norse cosmology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norse_cosmology), other may have known with different names as Világfa ( Hungarian mythology) , Ağaç Ana (Turkic mythology), Modun ( Mongolian mythology ), Ygg Irminsul in Germanic mythology, the Oak in Slavic and Finnish mythology, ...
and maybe more known Ashvattha (the Sacred Fig in Hindu mythology )

Other may know only in one of its many derivative forms, as the Tree of Life discussed in the Kabbalah

Image

Here may be important to know that since they dualistic vision and mentality Hebrews split the original World Tree in 2 separate concepts, the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge (of the good and evil):
For some untold reason the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge were forbidden to humans and because Christianity share the same Dualistic vision of most of Hebrews you may known the rest of this history ... with Adam ,Eve, the evil Snake , a enraged God kicking out of Eden the trespassers, and the Original Pity

No polemic here anybody has the right to his vision here in Lysergica, i remarked only because Hebrew and Christians (not sure for Muslims , that anyway share a similar dualistic vision of reality ) are the only that dared split the Life Tree in 2 separate part the Tree of Life and the True of the Knowledge and to believe the fruit of one of the severed part prohibited, and that eat the fruits of Tree Knowledge may be such horrible offence , so awful to deserve a perennial banishment from Eden of all mankind

Anyway as anybody should known the Yggdrasill, exist simultaneously in different places and reality ,and may look totally different depending on observer believes desires and illusions

here we are just under the Roots of its local manifestation here in Lysergica , of course here we can't show the Yggdrasill itself, because its own formal request of privacy , but we may get quite close , just under its his main roots, in the underworld where its roots fork and each forking is connected to a passage for another level of reality, or if you prefer to another universe

...Image

Here the roots often assumes the appearances , or more exactly they become pillars and column because here the the Tree created its own Temples and Sanctuaries, all different yet all connected and
part of the same living force

Image

again each observer will describe something different, according with his own religious or scientific believes and its own personality and will colour his description in its own way

Image

Image

Image

But here may be better zoom out to offer a large overview

Image

now we are following one of the roots forks, again note as not only the subjective vision but even the photos taken on the same spot by different observers may not coincide

Image

Image

same if we proceed

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

As i wrote each fork of the root correspond also to a different Portal ,again we must zoom out to give a idea ...you should note that close to the Yddrisill roots there are frequent variation of the magnetic and of the gravity fields, in simple words there is no more a up and down or north or south, or more exactly there are multiple "up or down", left and right, South and North ...here the photos may clear

Image

Image

Image

Image

Obviously each of that ramification lead to different realities and places ...better zoom again into one to clear...

Image

Image

Just time left for a last overview

Image

and to zoom again the last time

@photocomix
You like your pillars, do you ? :D
Have you heard about a computer art scene called "demoscene" ? It's about coding, math and art, you should check it out, I'm sure you'll like the feeling. Here is an example product of the genre, 64ko of visual mathematics, beware It's windows only: http://www.theproduct.de/fr-019-final.zip

:yes I believe the green ones , even more if seen in the sequence may give a idea of a space with multiple a always shifting up and down , right and left, ...i was following the concept of gates or portal to different multiverse and they fit so well in the picture

What i mostly like is create environments, architectures or scenery that may shift from metallic to organic or even alien ... for this pillar are great if you have a interesting prospective of series of cool looking pillars then you already created a interesting space.

I may try but i am not a coder , neither i am too good with maths , more the opposite site

It is true that i did some filters, but do it really require for me a sort of mental switch a switch as may be get in a artistic trance but less easy
Anyway i am convinced that anybody may enter in a artistic or creative trance, and for the same reason that i could enter in a state of mind adapt to coding ,and yes it happened (but for the gmic filters would be no sufficent without help from David , Zonderr, and other on the Gmic flickr group ) but for sure is not my normal state of mind and do the switch is not always easy

M3D even if based on formula does not require that you understand how the formula work or the meaning of the different parameters, that will be better but i believe would be almost impossible for the complexity and quantity of formula.

No i only look for images and when i found something cool with parameters attached i immediately fav it here http://photocomix2.deviantart.com/favourites/48052512

At first i don't even try to change something in the parameters, i use the parameters as a Wizard will use of spell that will magically allowing entrance to enter inside a picture
As if walking there ( inside the image i like on deviantart) with a camera, , free to explore all unseen corners

That was and still remain my first step , then i could never stop to play and experiment till even the formula , the original spell get somehow changed sometimes even radically

well i am going ot , i will try that till now i am really hooked by M3D because there is so much till to explore for me, and i would like find the time to learn something as Blender, i like much 3d

but i got the zip i will try i am always curious
