if people want it, i will post a little documentation and the xcf with lots of info (i made notes for each layer, with values and stuff)
i made screenshots but i cant possibly make this into a full tutorial

oh and i tried to incorporate G'MIC

I liked this Esper, I also Liked the other version you posted.

If you are using the polka dot filter for the holes if you set the angle to 45 then the dots are offset to each other, I prefer the offset position as it makes the pattern more interesting, but its most probably a personnal thing.

thanks he4rty and moko !

this was supposed to be a tutorial, but it would be too long

i tried different angles, but they looked odd

also i paid a lot of attention to the direction of light, so everything would offset in the same direction

Excellent, Esper. I particularly like the joined letters; they are nice visual "pause" places, kind of like pausing in a garden to enjoy something in particular.

The overall view is pleasant and appealing.

You're in luck. I've started drinking more tea and less coffee. You'll have to put up with economy tea bags though!
