My first thought when seeing this (before reading the caption) was indeed that this is very meta. As merrak says, seeing the recursion would be very cool (although a tablet doesn't actually show the image, you could picture it was a cintiq or something ...)

Anyway, I like how you have concentrated only on the minimal lines and features needed for you to be recognizeable - a very clean and effective style with minimal distractions. Looks like the same tablet (Intuos4M) as I have too.

Very good drawing but you've got a better graphics tablet than me and that's not on!

Yeah I tend to go for minimalistic linework usually. For this picture I used a photograph as a model (but didn't trace it). I did a similar piece with pencil a while ago, from the same photo, so I wanted to try doing the same with a tablet.

Well... yeah, I really love my intuos

I tried to do a self-portrait with a mirror. It didn't come out well. I must've blinked every time I looked up at the mirror.
