My wife has been trying for years to get me to take a pic of her hideous hound. I've been hesitant for several reasons. Partly because there is probably a law against it, partly because forcing anybody to look at that dog would be cruel, also I wasn't at all sure it wouldn't damage my camera. Nevertheless, I present Gubbs, the Abominable Dachshund. I call her Gubbs because that's the sound she makes when she eats.
I used oobing, I'm sure most of you know what that is. I also had to render her from the background and clone a lot of hair onto her.

She's so fat we have to take her to a truck wash to give her a bath.

She is adorable! And she is nowhere as fat as my Fatty Boy Red Dog.

gms9810: it's a lovely picture! i'll show some becoming ignorance and ask: what is oobing? and my second question is: why did you have to clone lots of hairs onto her? does she have dreams of a modeling career and wanted you to retouch or what? and of course the third question is: what has this harmless looking dachshund done to deserve an epithet like "evil incarnate"?! never heard you actually speak ill of an animal before - well, mice, but not any individual mouse, just as a collective phenomenon.

what is oobing? Out Of Bordering. It's making an object look like it's sticking out past the border, in this place her ear.
why did you have to clone lots of hairs onto her? Because she's15 years old and doesn't have any hair on her ears and other places.

Aww, she looks like the dachshund I had growing up. He lived 16.5 years, quite a long time.

Very nice.

I am sure her dog has some points you like. Doesn't look too bad from here.
