Most of the setting is imaginary. The little trees in front of the house are real, as is the big tree behind it. The rest isn't.
This was originally going to be an illustration for something. I don't quite remember anymore.

But they're cool if you don't mind "character". I tease my wife that my office has the only perfect floor. Every other room has at least some little dip somewhere in it. Most of it is just cosmetic. The serious stuff (like wiring) has been redone.
A couple friends of me + my wife have a 100 year old house with original K&T wiring. I think they'll need to replace it pretty soon, and that gets expensive fast.
