The Kophs are a peaceful people of pint-sized elves, they live in mushrooms and logs, they have no windows but use candles to light up the house. One of the Kophs allowed me to take a picture of their house to show the world of the land beneath our feet! It was taken at the end of the day so you see the fireflies wanted in the shot as well...!

I hope you enjoy the house! The Koph wants to know what the people in the world above think of it's home.
(I made up the Name Koph, if it means something in another language I didn't know. :oops:
)

The Picture is much bigger but I had to resize due to slow uploading...Originally had a jpg but it looked terrible.

MyPaint + GIMP - About 3-5 hours at most, was done mostly last night since I couldn't sleep...I stopped at almost 2 am and finished this afternoon. xD

Any kind of comment is welcomed!

mokonafan: a delightful picture! you did really well on the grass and the texture of the mushroom, i think. i wouldn't mind living like that myself, i have a very clear picture on how the koph have it all arranged inside their mushroom house: winding stairs through the stem, with some small storage rooms on each landing, then a great big combined kitchen and living room with an old fashioned stove and a rocking chair and hand woven rugs and two small bedrooms with wooden beds and fluffy bolsters. i hope you'll tell us more about the koph!

It's a cute house. I was thinking the same thing, though :P If Mario knew he was eating people's houses, maybe he wouldn't feel like such a big man.
