There's some really nice gimping going on there. Just earlier today I had to correct a comment that referred to my stuff as 'photoshopped' and I can't stand that. It's 'gimped' and I'm proud of it. *brofist*

I do wish it had a more professional name. "Gimp" sounds like it's disabled and limps along. I read that they're thinking about renaming it.

A recurring subject on the devs mailing list... shot down each and every time :) The 2.7 splash screen was even partly inspired by the other meaning of "gimp" (the other source of inspiration being the "cage" tool).
