That is a perfect subject to use for low-poly! And your script for triangulator works really well.

I liked this and the gradients posted in the last one so I applied a random gradient overlay to your lion..

gradient lion looks good, did you manually do it or an auto-process of some kind?

I did an edge detect, inverted and thresholded to get a B&W ourline of the triangles, then ran my multifill script http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1221&start=90#p101243 with random direction gradient, and set the result to be an overlay blend.
