A detail from what was originally a larger image. Made in Krita with some fixes in GIMP.

I really like this, it's so cute!
Only thing I'd say is under her eyes seem a bit to baggy for a young girl, and the hairs that are growing from her neck (or looks like it) although hair does grow there, it doesn't really stick out like a kitten like that looks, it goes out and down or just down.
This looks kinda like wiskers on her neck. :lol

What's she using on her lips btw? Lipstick that I know of is always in a tube that you turn.

All in all it's really nice, she's adorable! ;)

That's quite an expression! Looks great to me. I'm curious what the rest of the picture was. The shadow over her face looks like that cast by window-bars.

Random post for a question but...Do you use the sparkly looking texture brushes for that skin texture?

Awesome results Griatch. :)
And the title fits perfectly. Is that a new character?

Thanks for the comments everybody!

It's interesting to make studies of faces and expressions that are somewhat unusual. :)

I did tweak the lower eye lids a bit, and also removed some of the extra hairs. Hopefully better now! Thanks for the feedback. :)
This is a non-modern image and character, so I pictured her using some sort of clump of coloured salve or mixture to apply to her lips.
As for the texture, no it's not a sparkle brush, it's a splatter brush from deevad's Krita brush set. A similar effect can be achieved in GIMP also using the "jitter" property and a hard, round brush.

The full image involves her holding up her rather unruly hair with her right hand as well as more of her shoulders and upper torso. It was okay but I felt I needed to focus the image more to the main interest of her lips. :)
