This is actually my first year that I've kinda 'celebrated' halloween :hehe It's not a very popular holiday here in the Netherlands.

Anyways this is very nicely done! Really gets you into the halloween mood! I really like the border too :bigthup

I'm not much for Halloween either, but thanks.

Some people take it way to serious for me. In most places in the USA, it's a kids holiday and after a certain age it becomes silly.
It's sad to say, but It's been blown out of proportion from what it was all really about.

That's one of the reasons I dont like it and because it was never originally celebrated in Australia - We had guyfawks until fireworks and bonfires were outlawed for personal use. Bonfires, because this place is too easily set alight and fireworks because too many people were being injured. I do like your skull border.
By the way, what is Halloween really all about?

If you like you can check out this 'Wikipedia' link, all about Halloween... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloween

I read through this link and there is more to Halloween then most people know, so you might be just as surprised as I was when reading it.

I had no idea you guys used to celebrate Guy Fawkes night in Australia. It's still a big deal over here, though it's so mixed in with Halloween it's hard to no where one stops and the other starts.

Cat seems to be the cat from the American McGee game "Alice".
My dad played that game as I watched, it scared the life out of me. :lol

I'm not one for Halloween either but well made piece!
I like the orange moon thingy a lot. :>

Wallace your Image would look great as the backdrop to a Halloween Banner here on GimpChat

Thanks and yes I think that is where the cat is from.

I think your right Graechan, but I'm not putting together a GC banner for Halloween. If you would like to use it to create a GC Halloween banner, be my guest. Matter of fact, if anyone would like to use my Halloween image for a GC banner that's fine with me. ;)

Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!
