Idk what to call this, I was just playing around and I ended up with this.
I originally wanted to draw a little Koph walking along but it wasn't working out too well , and I haven't even really developed a "proper" image for a Koph I just have a basic idea in my mind.

Oh wells, I guess a little yellow butterfly will have to do. xD
This is what happens when I'm bored to death, I babble and draw silly things.



Drawn mainly in MyPaint, added touches of lighting and atmosphere done in GIMP.

Quite cute but the dark shadows give a rather sinister look, like some sort of horror movie.

The angle of the light is also doesn't help that much. A higher angle would have been better.

Nice - and as usual, nice colours. The shadows make it look like evening so maybe a slight hint of peach in the light would work well.

Very nice Moko, I would just comment that is seems a little blurry but that is only a very minor issue.

mokonafan: it's beautiful! like the colours, the composition and the sketchy style, it's fun to see that from you once in a while even if i'm a great fan of your neater outlined style. i can agree with erisian about the slight peach tone in the light, that would be a great idea and place the image in time in a late afternoon/early evening. maybe that would take away the horror movie associations that raptor says he gets too - i didn't think of anything like that this time, though .

Interesting concept, I don't see that type of vibe at all but it's interesting to see someone does.



Wellllllll when I put other colors it looks kinda pale...But then again I like crisp lines even if everything in life isn't "crisp". xD

Yeah I agree it's a bit blurry, it was meant to be a more sketchy painted looking style instead of "smooth".
But still is kinda to blurry. xD

I'm tryyyinggg to think up something in an outlined style but nothing is coming to me.

mokonafan: never mind that, then - just keep playing with other styles and have fun, the outlined style will probably come back when it's ready .

That's how my enchanted wood painting happened. Playing is the most natural way to learn stuff.
