Sorry for the delay in responding... I just noticed this one.
It's looks good - very icy! :bigthup

Without seeing the original tutorial, I have one quick question, is the area behind him supposed to be ice? I can see through it to the trees behind...

This is more like what I'll be seeing...Sandman.

I love your sandman fluffybunny. I'd like to know how to make the sand texture with different brightness.

Nice job on the snowman but he looks like he is floating instead of sitting on land.

Fluffy, great job on your sand, How did you get that texture, it is really nice

Ok folks, let's take a step back.
That Sandman is just a photo I came across when 'Googling' on the net.
Sorry if it came across as one of my creations, that was not my intent.
I was googling 'Australian Christmas' images.
I did a double take, because it was posed so similar to Combagui's snowman.

It is still awfully cute though Fluffy, I wouldn't mind skipping the cold part of the winters we get here, even though it is pretty to look at through the window.

The sandman looks like he needs a corona. I never touch the stuff, it's bad, but he looks like the commercial for it. As far as Conbaguis image goes, the snow is too smooth too. Snow is fluffy; some noise to break up the almost shiny smoothness of it would fool the eye into thinking 'snow' better. And I agree, snow is not transparent. Unless of course the local pond is sporting a frozen tidal wave. Then all bets are off.
