Awesome, Lyle. It really looks like ice.

54 skulls!

Do I detect a tutorial in the making? :hehe

All my sculptures are at the seat of my pants O since the nuances are hard to outline. I will give you the secret weapon though. EyeCandy 3's Glass filter. You can get Ice Candy 3 for free here and it's GIMP friendly (including the preview). :)

Unfortunately, Eye Candy is for Windows.

Here's a frosty one I came up with.

Excellent; looks fantastic to me O. You should be able to use any PS filter in XNView or Irfanview in Linux, but I already know you are weary of using Wine. I wonder if you can set up a VM so you can run various programs in a VM in Linux and then share the results between your VM and your OS. I do this with Win7. I do all my browsing using an XP VM (typing this message now using my XP VM) and run my browser in Sandboxie (in essence, I'm double Sandboxed). I then created shares between my XP VM and my Win7 since I do all my editing in Win7 64-bit. It sounds convoluted, but trust me, I won't be getting a virus any time soon unless I choose to get one. :)

Not my skulls, but the owner wants them to be used for play (both for personal and professional; rarely does this happen). Definitely looks cool O. Guess I must be weird since I like Rod's Glossy 3D version too. ;)

Also, again, I appreciate all the comments. :)

Thought I would do another one. Added Fire Ice Script-fu (invert run the script-fu then upright back) for some added icicle effects. :)

Wow, he/she looks like she is worth a pile of money. Just look at those eyes. I wonder how many karats are in those. And the rest looks like a mixture of diamonds, amethyest, emeralds, etc etc. like a small fortune in one skeleton.... da heck with the ice, I'll take the jewels.

OK Molly; the light melted most of the ice for you so grab the gems while you can. :)

Wow that's real cool looking Lyle! =)
Love the extra care you took in adding those shiny sparkles.

Looks fantastic.

Thanks Rod; the sparkle was GIMP, but the jewels was done in a preset that I created over a year ago in DAP. :)

WOW !! :clap :clap :clap

I will ignore that little demon whispering in my ear something about posting that on ebay advicing that the profit will be ALL used for beneficency : to help starving italian artists
And will be litterally true: i really know a excellent Italian starving artist that badly need a graphic tablet
..nothing too expensive even a modest Wacom Cintiq 21UX (http://www.wacom.com/cintiq/cintiq-21ux.php) would help

All that diamonds esmeralds and precious stone for the price of a graphic tablet would be a excellent bargain..

lol; I did one of these in the recent past PC and told that person that I'm virtually rich but actually not. That's the problem with me. Guess I'm not the only one here with that same problem. ;)

Wish I could actually give you one of those grape looking gems gms, but like I mentioned just above, I'm only virtually rich. :)

well there is people that live in a state of virtual and emotional misery, a misery beyond immagination but has a lot of cash...we should find a way to help them filling their environment and imagination of beauty and dreams and our wallets of cash
