Made this image for a deviantArt group called "DA Skeleton Crew". Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I know the DA Skeleton Crew loves it.

Does this mean it's not a holly jolly Christmas but a very scary Christmas? :)

Looks good. Maybe it's Santa's evil brother. I always thought there must be one, what with being able to rearrange the letters of the name for the bad one.

Not entirely Odin. but I wouldn't rule it out. :hehe

Yes, it is a "twist" of the whole Christmas theme that we all know traditionally, but the deviantArt group I made this for is a less then traditional group, with an emphasis on the macabre.
I belong to another deviantArt group with a closely related theme, and all the art submitted to this group, must contain a skull or it is declined.
Should I have posted a warning in the thread's title, along with a disclaimer?

Thanks and yes that would balance things out, a truly great question for some deep philosophical thinking. :hehe

You're right. Santa is an anagram so could saint nick be old nick in disguise? Krampus maybe? :hehe

Kind of, I guess.
I actually only drew one half of the skull, and duplicated that then flipped it horizontally to make the other half.
Is that cheating?

What is cheating? You created what you wanted to create and did so effectively, is that cheating?

I hope you don't think i meant that you cheated Wallace. I just think it looks like the Grinch. :lol Maybe i shouldn't have added the word "suspiciously" My apologies if you took what i said the wrong way. I would never ever accuse anyone of cheating in their artwork.

Thanks Esper, It's all gimp and my wacom. I like to try and mimic the hand drawn look as much as I can, and the wacom really helps me do that.

Thanks again... :bigthup
The font I used is kind of hard to work with... I'm currently working on creating a "skull" color plate for others to use, based on this image.
