Why is that so disturbing? Do you believe in ghosts? Do tell! :)

I only ask because I have a Ghost Hunting group called G.A.S.P. We travel to ghost towns in the summer and "hunt" for ghosts. ;)

That's why I asked.

mahvin,
How far will your group travel to hunt ghosts? There's an old prison on the north side of the nearby city that is said to be haunted. It's been used as the setting for some movies and TV shows. It's even got a Wikipedia page! Ohio State Reformatory - Mansfield.
It used to creep me out just passing by, and I'm a bit of a skeptic. When telling folks about it, I would say "You ever hear of Castle Grayskull?"

I don't believe and i don't exclude nothing
I witness so many unexplainable things in my life

when i was a teen i had a very intense relation with an old sudamerican filmmaker, the years passed and i randomly meet him, decade after decade and he never aged...was old when i meet at 15 years was apparently no more old when i meet again 5, 10, 20, 30 years later, the only difference is that before i knew where was his Studio, after we just meet around

And about ghost never saw ghost rattling chains...but i had a so strange, and strange because apparently so normal encounter with a friend...i was happy to meet her because i have read on the newspaper few days before a new that made me fear was dead (but on the newspaper were only the initial of her name)

But was there ,under the sun in a busy market asking me about something to buy or sell

It was a embarrassing moment , i was so happy she was alive
BUT i was working my boss was there, she was a drug addict and in that period with a hobo look...so even if was one of my best friend and i had much to be grateful to her , because she always helped me i could not hug her no even invite for a cafe

2 days after , while making a breakfast with a newspaper i had a shock...there was more on the newspaper because the death was not accidental, she was stabbed to death and the house burned to try to hide the proof of the killing ,and this time was also hers full name and a photo.

I don't want pretend to have met a ghost, but then was only one other possibility left
..somehow,before meet her , maybe in a daydream i did read the newspaper of a day still to come

still i don't believe in supernatural, but with fact as those i can't exclude nothing

I've dealt with a few ghosts in my time. I was part of a paranormal group, but it died off shortly after it started, because the founder got very busy with an lost pet finding service . I am what is called a sensitive.

We stick to the Pacific NW region. I'm the skeptic of the group (debunker). But I don't rule anything out. Open minds, opens doors.

I am in the same boat. On one hand, I don't want to dismiss the possibility. On the other hand, I don't want people to believe that every little noise or sighting is of paranormal origin. Most things can be explained. But, I, too, have had encounters I could not explain. And I have had cases of Deja Vu. I have not yet encountered a ghost.

Yeah, that's definitely spooky, Rod. I can almost envision the faces slowly fading in from the darkness.

I've had weird dreams that I didn't understand at that time, but the situations in those dreams happen (sometimes only a few days after or even a few months), but I've never seen or perceived the presence of spiritual beings, but don't dismiss that fact either. May actually be evidence of parallel existence to other dimensions that have leakage issues that can be detected by those sensitive to them. I do believe that all folk are interconnected to a bigger whole and a few folk can tap into that form of understanding and that the past, preset and future do tie together, but that's just my belief.

I believe there is only one other dimension, and that is where God is.
Heaven in the Bible is just another word in the Hebrew manuscripts for sky.
I think that Ezekiel saw God in one of those ships from another dimension "Heaven" or Sky.
I also believe the only way to enter that dimension is to have your spirit body leave this human host. (death of the flesh)
I believe evil spirits are allowed to roam this Earth until a true believer sends them back (exorcism).
I believe those evil spirits are actually fallen angels mentioned in the Word of God (Book of Genesis).
Instead of coming to earth through the bag of waters (born of water), they have gone against God and decided to come in the spirit, hence they are no longer natural to this world.
I believe anything un-natural is against God. God created nature to be just that natural.
I believe there are some who will stand against AntiChrist (instead of Christ), in the end times.
I believe those are the only humans able to perform exorcisms.

But that's just my beliefs.

They go much deeper, but this is a forum for Gimp so i will quit now. =)

Yes; Ephesian's Ch. 6. The fight is with those that we can not see but we put on the whole armour of God just to stand in the end time. I too have that faith Rod. What I've seen just in my own lifetime confirms my belief. It's still amazes me that we have to do all that the Word has outlined just to stand (not move, and protect, but just to stand only). It's going to be a rough ride and don't look forward to that time. Sent you a PM. :)

i love books and concept but i would never let me be guided or believe in books or concepts,
and in the books i include all the Holy Books (each religion has at least one) as i include in the concept "God", and all the Gods that humanity worshipped

That doesn't mean that i deny God, but my believe is that if you think to know what is God and his Wishes then you miss the whole point
because the real thing can't be described with concept, neither his words represented in a book

But i too will stop here... i don't want ignite theological discussions

I remember when you and I were trying to post about an old tutorial at the same time in GT. It was such an awesome coincidence and neither of us knew that the other was posting about it. You couldn't find it. I had a printed copy of it that I had typed up and posted here in Gimp Chat and was asking if anyone knew what had happened to the website that originally had the tutorial.

I chalked it up to synchronicity. To me it was paranormal.

It was this tutorial.
