I am sure everyone has some favorite gradients they have either created or have ran across at some point in time. Please post any gradients you would like to share to this thread.

If you run across any gradients than need to be referenced in this thread, click the report button Image in the lower right corner of the post which contain the gradients and let us know about them.

Hi Rod and Oregonian, I made this gradient and used it to reapply to O's link to the copper kettle. I think this is what O was looking for. The Kettle here is the same kettle but desaturated and color/map/to gradient with the attached gradient. You can easily use the curves tool in red mode to make it more "rosy". I think that Rod's colors are actually very close to new copper.

rod and he4rty: those are great gradients, thanks both of you! i had the stainless steel and the candy stripe gradient before, but i had forgotten who made them, so it was good to get a reminder :).

gradient to use as a radial to make planet rings. The gradient itself is black and transparent, you get the colors from alpha-locking and coloring it.

If I could see what he was clicking on, then I'd get a clearer picture. Plus this video goes to fast. I found another video to follow. It's by GimpTricks.
