Okay here is the latest news. :)

It was touch and go to get the type to line up correctly so the entire glyph would show.Either the top and bottom were cut off or just the bottom.
You will be happy to know i have figured that out also. Here are some image examples so you can see what i mean.

So now i can build the glyph blocks from these values and any glyphs created from the template will work. :)
That is to say PhotoStart will show the entire glyph image. :bigthup :yes

Next i will add all the glyph blocks with the current values and it should be ready. :wh

Now that's one cool looking twisted font you are creating Rod. Thanks for keeping us up to date. :)

Actually i needed something quick and dirty so i grabbed the candy cane animated hose. :lol
First i created a new layer - selected the brush and set the size to .25
Then i selected the A Path and did a stroke path...
Then a quick path to selection shrink by 7 and stroke again
then shrink by 7>stroke with brush about 2 more times to get the entire font filled.

Worked pretty good. I may finish it and include it with the first phf installer. :bigthup

Not as of yet MareroQ. I am still working on a new 8bf plugin that will except larger image files (not just 480)
So high def fonts can be created.
It (the phf/xml) works pretty good the way it is though. Just try and use the XCF template and stay within those sizes and you should be okay.
I did finally receive my Photo Objects 25,000 in the snail mail too. They said they lost my email... :lol
Nice tiff images of objects i can use for Photofont glyphs. So i will be creating some more soon.
I will keep you updated on the PhotoFont.8bf i am working on in Filter Meister also.I need to contact the author of the original 8bf for some information on the code, and hopefully they will release it.

As for me, is one of the most interesting topics!
When thinking about the next version?
No lower case letters-it is not a problem to create.
But - wait for a full set of your authorship?

Rod After I have created the images as per your example xcf, do you remember what to do next I have positioned them as images as per your example for non-embeded, all I have to go by are your phf files for paperclips and non-embeded

Graechan if you have the images all created and the PHF file edited to point to them you need to only make sure the PHF file is in the
C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Photofonts
folder OR install the phf through Filters>Fontlab>Photofont Start> install photofonts button. Point to the phf file you edited and you should be all set. Photofont will copy the phf file and move the copy to your
C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Photofonts
folder for you. :bigthup

But i have gotten Steampunk 1 finished as an embedded file (see separate topic) if you would like that for now. 2 and 3 i will work on soon. :)
