you can build your similar pattern in this way
1.Gmic>Testing>Samj>Patterns>Motif_Aleatoires...
2.Image>scale Image (from 100% to 25%)
3.Filters>map>makeseamless
4.Edit>Copy
5.Edit>Past as>new pattern

If you fill a new Image with this new pattern you can play with
Colors>Alien Map or Colors>curves or Colors>Inverse

this info is for beginners like me pls let me know better ways!
A big thank to Samj

Samj has some fantastic filters in Gmic (you just have do a little bit of translation to understand the settings) , as a lot are all in french.

Marcello an easy way to create the pattern is to use 'Pattern from Image' This will create a seemles pattern saved to your clipboard ready for use

When script is finished your pattern is saved to your clipboard and made the active pattern "Ready to use"

note! :When I ran Samj's filter I set the the dimension to 200

Graechan, what size layer did you make your pattern on and how did you get the divisions. Do you still have a screen of the actual pattern before you ran the script?
Thanks, molly

Cool results guys. Reminds me of those old floral wallpaper patterns from the 60s.

David the results from Samj's filter are already seamless, and random but the min-size is 128x128 so I used the 'Pattern from Image' script to reduce further and copy to clipboard
