Pixel Art Help

Hello I need help with some pixel art that i do, its for a game. The file is .gif, and i have to change the hair color.

I did it like this.

Menu: Tools: Selection Tools, By Color Select.
In the left side Tool Options box.
Mode: add to the selection.
Threshold: Around 75
Clicked over the darker blue.
Click again over the lighter blue part that wasn't selected.

Menu: Colors, Hue Saturation.

I've seen only one color altered easier but can not remember how it was done.
You better wait for the gurus to reply.

I used the select by colour tool and selected all of the hair then colorized it. You could do the same thing with the fuzzy select tool.
