A Lot of gtk2 Themes for Gimp can be easily edited by the user by opening the theme file and changing the relevent image

In the GreenHeart file I changed this Image menu.png

Image

For this Image

Image

Which resulted in this happening

Image

So far I have looked at 3 gtk2 files and they all used pixmap images in thier gtrc file

To do this I followed these steps

1/ Start by viewing this Youtube Video
2/ Now download these 15 gtk2 Themes for Gimp-2.8
3/ Install all 15 folders as per video

I have kept it short to allow you to play with your own pixmap image if your favourite theme is using them

Easier still go to end of page 2 for file and istructions

I do differ from the Video above in that I prefer to place the 15 gtk2 themes in my user file .gimp-2.8/themes, as this makes for a better files practice

gtk2 files seem to all differ like script files. I just start changing images and see what happens, you need to restart your gimp to check for change then try another, very slow work. must go to bed soon it's night time here.
