Here is the basic map for Neon Tubes,

The first image is just the map on its own and then the filter>alpha to logo>neon applied.

Image

The second image has a second ML Bevel Reflect logo ran at the same settings as the first, then the first image results have been pasted above as a new layer and set to screen.

Image

Below you will find the Map.

Thanks He4rty, I had no idea that that map was able to create the text above. I'll try it. Thanks again! :clap :tyspin

A few more environment maps I'd like to share with you guys [960x960 px, PNG with alpha, RGB].
Image

I have not tested any of these in gimp with ML Bevel Reflect plugin but worked great for me in 3d apps.
I've come to love 'organic' textures (wax, cherry, lime, etc), should be good results with gimp too.

Have fun!

You're welcome Molly!
There is no Mountain Mirror in zip files - big file, so am uploading now

Side note for everyone: depending on what or how you do it with Bevel Reflect logo script or the named plugin,
you might want to Color select the black color (Threshold 15.0) and delete before using as a map.

Thanks for all the cool spherical emaps! I need to get crackin' to test out some of these. :hehe

Here is a new one I created using the EviroMap script, running map object interactively. It's not exactly spherical, but that doesn't seem to matter much with the BRL script. I'm calling this one: The Egg Map.

Is there a folder that the emaps have to be in after they are downloaded?

You can make a folder and store it where ever you want. I have mine on the desk top and I add any new ones to it.

Here are a couple of more creations. For these I started with a photograph and simulated so called 'light probe' images using a script.
