I could not find how to delete messages in the PM of the forum and yet I used advanced search.
In all the messaging that I use, just click on the message box and there is a function "delete", or by the word "delete" or the icon "trash"...

Do you have something like this bottom of the PM's listing.

Tick the ones to delete, choose Delete Marked from option. Then Go and confirm when asked.
