Are we getting merchandised, And why is GimpChat so slow?

For me speed of opening pages has varied over the past week or so but nothing really slow.

Login was especially tiresome for me,
with other pages loading at well over 10 seconds sometimes.
I can also confirm, that the sites page loading experience has improved slightly.
Which is better than what it had been previously.

Seems whatever is being done to alleviate this issue is being kept a secret.
There's no telling what was done, if anything.
Any slight improvements seem to be sporadic.

Whatever is being done to help with the slowdown seems to be unpredictable and intermittent,
with little to no effect.
Page loading times are also still very painful.
