Nice additions alc59 & Rod.
@Anmal - I actually thought your last submission was one of the best. I particularly liked the way you seamlessly faded your background into the existing background gradient. That was a nice touch.
I also really liked wbool63's giant Wilber with the green peppers and sparkles. It makes me smile.
I'll keep the original GC banner in rotation, which was a team effort inspired by Jolie. I might not get them up tonight but that gives anyone who wants to contribute an extra day to get one ready.
We might want to consider a couple of 4th of July themed banners for the upcoming independence day celebration. There is a lot of cool possibilities with that theme, like fireworks! Yay!!

Is there a limit as to how many banners can be in rotation?

There are no limits as to the number of banners that can be rotated. I have them set to all rotate through once each hour, on 10 minute intervals, but that can be changed.

So like in theory we could keep making more and you could use them all?

I really need to try to make a banner, just to practice with Gimp. I have forgotten, but isn't there the wilbur render stashed somewhere in the Gimp program?

On my Windows 7 system, there are Wilburs here: C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.6.7\share\gimp\2.0\images

Hmmm, not finding it on mcgimp. I think it's probably on my gimp 2.6 on the pc.

Simple solution:

Yes. The last time, I placed all the submitted banners into rotation and after a while, whittled them down to the ones which seemed to integrate best into the websites theme and color scheme.
I was planning on doing the same thing again but I'm certainly open to suggestions.

Below is a link to an SVG version, which can be imported into GIMP at any size.

The newly submitted banners are now up on a 6 minute rotation. We have 7 new submissions + GC's original banner so a couple of the banners rotate twice. That gives us slots for two more new banners, if anyone would still like to submit one (or another one).
Please clear your browser cache to ensure you have the latest versions of the banners. if you notice something wrong or see something that can be improved, let me know.
Thanks for the great new submissions!!

Since we needed a couple more banners, I thought I'd get in on the fun too.
