Good to see this topic has been revived recently. I am rather busy right now but managed to find some time today to have a play with banners. I'm rather fixated on top hats for some weird reason and made a couple of Gimp Chat top hat brushes to use in the banners..

I can understand that it's a big and time-consuming job to be an active admin, it would be nice if Omega could give one or more mod an upgrade to be able to do some of the work, such as adding more banners and whatever.

Were some new banners released? I have been seeing some banners today that I have never seen before. Maybe, I just missed them.

Actually i believe Tux had all the banners on a rotating schedule according to the months. The Christmas and holiday banners should play start of November. Halloween ones should be playing now though. So maybe i am wrong.

I thought they just randomly pick one from http://gimpchat.com/banners2/
maybe Tux overwrote the content of this folder when the time came.
