As I look into my crystal ball, it's a little hazy, but I see something, yes... perhaps there's a 'Chrome Text Tutorial' in your future.

I really am enjoying seeing new banners each time I look up top. They are all so cool, I feel sort of inadequate, lol. I just haven't got a good idea yet, but hope to give it a go one of these days.

Here is a concept (old theatre marquee) I've been playing with. Not sure how good it is, though.

Image

With this one, that makes 4 new ones. We need 2 more to make 30 banners, which will allow me to rotate a new one every 4 minutes for two hours.

I could use a couple from the original thread than was never placed into rotation, There are a couple of good ones there that wasn't used.

Look awesome GnuTux. I like the first one best for the more "realistic" factor, but agree the others would go better color wise.

Or this one..

I can't decide which is better. Although, the last one probably fits better with the site's color scheme.

All three are very nice Tux and I know the blue fits in with the theme but something about the orange one really works for me. I vote for #1 :teeth

I thought I'd have a go at this, though I'm not that sure how suitable it is or what It's suppose to be about, but I do love abstract stuff, so here it is.

@ Paynekj,

Very organic looking. Can't wait to see your end results.

For me GimpChat has the atmosphere of a roadside cafe, where you take a break in the middle of the night during along journey, with the regulars and the occasional visitors, so what else can it be:
