Thanks merrak.

Just a suggestion but if you could move the Wilber balloon to the right jut a little, it wouldn't be cropped on the side and I think it would better integrate with the site.

Also, could you attach the original xcf, with the individual layers?

The theater marquee is up now... it's actually quite realistic looking. I am totally loving all of these banners. It would be so cool if there was a tutorial for every one of them, lol. I know, too much work, but it would be cool.

Here's an update. I fixed the cloud background, too, so it should merge seamlessly with the site background.

Here's one where I used Blender to create the text and the rest was done with Gimp...

Thanks Rod, It's only text. I'm still having issues with lighting placement. This text was made with one light in front and one high above. Really just an experiment, I have to do renders after every movement of the lights to see what I've got.
I noticed that the lowercase t's look a little odd, but changing this would have been a bit of a dogfight for me.

jesus Wallace, do you have a secret button in your Gimp that you press and then all those great compositions just pop out ? :clap

i think you should really make something bigger in that style, the jagged edges are kind of unfortunate, considering how great each of your pieces are

I wish there was a 'secret button', as for the jagged edges, this piece looks much better then most. I also think you may possess 'eagle-eyes' when it comes to finding those jagged edges.
Text is your specialty after all, isn't it?
Maybe I would benefit by wearing my glasses :blind when I'm Gimping, however they are only supposed to be for reading. :hehe

you are right, Wallace, i have eagle eyes
sometimes that helps, sometimes people find it unnerving

for me the 'M' of your text has these little "steps", that i find aestethically unpleasing
especially when everything else is so nice and perfect !

text is kind of my speciality, yes
i just find it easy and pleasing to do
others find it lame, and i see their point

anyway, love your stuff !
