...I don't see the title block here at GIMPChat. Changed from using Iron Browser to IE8 (talking about my XP VM) and it is unfortunately the same. Went to my IE11 browser (Win8) and all's well. What gives? Want the main title block (hope I'm describing that right; you know, the GIMPChat banner) back. :)

Browser settings or an extension seems a likely culprit. In browser setting you need scripts enabled. Are you using anything like Adblock Plus or noscript?

...and it's not all bad at least you woke up this morning. :hehe

I also think it is probably what Odin said, somewhere the settings on adblock or one of those apps don't have permissions for the GC banner. I have run across that same thing before. Is the page style set at basic under View?

Ended up completely resetting IE (I guess Iron uses way too much of the settings in IE for it's own uses as well) and that fixed everything. Thanks for the input. :)

Well, I now know why the banner disappears. It's my Privoxy program that does this. I can temporary disable privoxy then re-enable it and it will be there for a little while, then the banner disappears again. Strange; didn't recall this behavior when my last XP VM. I will try to deal with this later by adding GIMPChat to an exceptions list (and hopefully that will work; maybe that's what I did last time too, but my braincells can't recall this issue before). :)

Trust me; hate going through this and it's one of the reasons I postponed upgrading in the first place 2-ton. :)

Same here, but I found out that I needed to in order to be able to upgrade to Yosemite in the fall. Now I am having to see if Partha can decipher what is wrong with the missing script fu in mcgimp.

Had to figure out the settings in Privoxy again (in the default folder), but I did. All's now well. Have my banner back. lol

Privoxy is a very powerful tool; sometimes too powerful. :)
