Wallace is right. (HE?) Should try an alternate email. But someone needs to respond to this, from one end or the other. Hate to see someone left out.

At least people here try to help out. I've been trying for years to create an account at registry.gimp.org and never get an email. I've even emailed the site admin about it and never gotten an answer. Finally gave up. Gimpscripts.com FTW!

It is very hard to respond to someone if we don't have an email to send it to.

The link was from a mailing list, but I didn't see which one. I'll try and shoot them a "try a different email" response.

And actually I meant here, so we could all keep a look out for ways to help. Need to know what's been tried after all.

I sent him an email at that link suggesting he try another email address. Whether he receives it or not, I don't think we can help him unless we can contact him.

Using a different email registering did work. But I had to choose a different user name.
How can I change me user name and/or remove my previously selected one which cannot be used since I could never activate it.

Welcome helmet, you can change your user name by going to user control panel above, just below the banner on the right.

Helmut logout and login with the password i sent you via email and PM. Should be fixed now.

Username = Helmut
Password = email sent
