For 2 days, when I click to insert an image, with one or the other of these icons and also smilies:
Image
the window is now located at the top right (before it was left and it suited me better :) )

Is this just a problem with my PC?

Hi level_0
Those windows come-up on the LHS for me and smilies in the middle. I don't think the CSS backend of Gimp Chat has changed for a long time other than minor tweaks when the image uploads stopped working. Is it possible you are using a different browser or monitor?

I think if you move it, it may go to that particular spot next time.
Although I could be wrong.

Nothing special on my PC, except a KB that Microsoft has just reinstalled in force (while it was already installed in December ..)
LHS=Left High S??

I put it to the left each time and unlike the windows of Windows Explorer, it repositioned on the right, it's frankly annoying..Image

There hasn't been any changes with the site,
that I'm aware of.

However,
there was a recent update by Windows,
which included the Intel Graphics Display Driver.

Those who use the built-in Intel Graphics Chip with their processors.
May experience some changes or issues,
regarding the display and or graphics handling.

You might be able to rollback the driver,
if this is indeed the case.
Which would bring you back to the driver used previously.

I wouldn't recommend doing this.
Unless you're absolutely sure,
that the integrated graphics driver,
was indeed updated,
and that this is the driver being using for display/onscreen graphics.

This is not a driver update because I blocked Windows driver updates with gpedit (which is not on Windows home but I used a tutorial that allows to install it).
I do not have that with the windows of the explorer and I do not have it either on other forums.Strange ... :)
it annoys me but it's not important.

Afaik,
the Group Policy Editor,
or gpedit.
My not function the same way,
when installed on Windows Home.
As it does on Windows Pro.

Have you checked your recent Windows Updates to confirm,
that no display drivers of any type were installed?

The updates you receive,
are tied to the version of Windows you're running.
I'm running version 1809 OS build 17763.379.
You're version and OS build my be different from mine.

I've been running 1809,
from the first day it arrived,
back in October and haven't experienced any of the reported "bugs".
