Watching video tutorials are sometimes too fast and you need to constantly click the pause button to see what is going on... you may need to still do that but slowing the video down can help sometimes.

--You may increase the video playback speed by 2x (a 4 minute video will play back in two minutes) or slow it down by a factor of .25 so that the same 4 minute clip takes 16 minutes to play back. Increase the play speed if the video presentation is boring or decrease when you are transcribing what’s being said in the video.
--NUMBERS ON THE NumKEYPAD DON'T WORK... you must use the numbers in the top letter keys.
--PROBLEM: If you use the PAUSE BUTTON, then it reverts back to normal speed but the Bar still displays it at the altered speed.

None the wiser 'which numeric key along the top do you press to slow down the video', or do you need to install something first.

For me the easiest way changing the speed of videos at YouTube is the settings button. The keypad method doesn't seem to work on my machine.
