Since becoming a member of GimpChat, maybe two or three times, I've not been able to logon and had to do a password reset. I don't find this unusual at all. It doesn't happen that often.

The reason for my post; a few days ago I had to reset my login, not a problem. But today I was going to respond to a post and there was no response area. I looked at the top of the forum to make sure I was logged in, as I was. I then looked at the bottom of the forum where everyone online and who has visited today are listed. I was the only one listed, no one online listed, no today history, pretty much blank. I'd never seen this are empty like that before.

All I had to do was login again and all was fine. I just thought it was a bit strange.

Can someone test this for me. Try to reply to Molly's post, if you can't check the bottom of the post to see how many users are listed. I have no problem at any other post, just this one. Are comments locked in this thread?

Here's a shot showing what I see using part of Erisian's last post on the page.

This has happened to me a couple of times too. I think this is one of the threads as well. You can still use the "Post a reply" button.

I've checked again and it's really not there odin. Use the post a reply button. The online today history only occurs on the index page anyway and not on individual forum pages. Browsing this forum gives only those in the same individual forum not all who are in GC.

That is strange, looks like one Tux will have to fix. That happened to someone a couple weeks ago. Was it you Eris?

I didn't report anything so it must have been somebody else Molly.

Post and reply works fine. I just thought it was strange it happened on only one thread and not the rest. Yes, I did figured out the usage on the bottom part.

Most likely from the mostly automated service that 99% of all forums use. Should be just a reset of state or something along those lines.

We don't use any automated services on here and the session timeout is set pretty high. I've never seen an occurrence where I was logged in and not able to post. Other than the session timing out, the only other thing I can think of that could cause a problem like this would be if the session cookies were cleared before you logged out. That could certainly cause problems.

We've had a few reports of anomalies occurring due to a corrupted browser cache.
