How about a contest where a member submits 3 images. Then any other member would create a piece that used all 3 images. LOL could be fun and maybe put some life back into Gimp Chat.

I do believe Jolie also started one. Can't find the link though sadly. :(

I don't know what a "Fark Board" is.
Whatever you guys what,
would need to be created by you the members,
or by an individual member themselves.

As a Global Moderator,
my abilities are limited.
There is only one person,
who is able to effect any lasting changes to the site.
That person is Omega the site owner.
He is the only one with Administrative Rights,
to implement these type of things.

Members (if they wish) are able to create posts,
which are interactive for our members.
There's nothing stopping anyone form doing such.

I also don't know what a "fark board" is.
But your example reminded me of this thread which we had a good fun run for a while

I understand, Wallace.
It probably would be a lot easier to just start a thread like this if anyone wanted to do that.
Thanks.

I agree. :bigthup
Every member here,
has the opportunity to do so,
if they wish.

Something other than Fark Board. But this thread, Wallace started, was also pleasant to do.
Still with molly, Oregonion and SysTemX, who sadly passed away.
And with several others who don't post at Gimp Chat anymore.

Yup that's one of them. Thanks! :) There was also a contest with a dog image as well.

While I don't have time to post graphics, I try to keep up with reading the boards, and the "fark" posts are fun to see.

Guess I fit that last sentence...but I do post occasionally...my problem is work commitments but I do pop in occasionally and especially if an update is about.
I am hoping to fix the problem some time soon with voluntary retirement since I am over 70....we shall see...the cookie jar isn,t full yet!
I want to point out though that just because I hardly ever am active here any more, it doesn't mean I am not still interested and wanting to contribute more.
I just don't have time to spend doing what I love with GIMP. And it is now exacerbated by me reading that GIMP won't work on the latest update for Mac OS. :(
