Thursday 2;55 pm Australian Central Time
Upload 1831_lights.jpg could not be uploaded
Doesn't want me to tell you I tried 3 more times. Using upload file and attach file.
Attach gives the message (for me) invalid picture.

I uploaded the 3 images above,
one after the other.
However,
the 4th image gave me the,
"could not be uploaded" error.

Looks like these errors are still an issue.

The image above was uploaded,
using a photobucket.com image url (Uniform Resource Locator).

I can't wait until they fix this!! I have a Photobucket account that I haven't used in an age. I hope it's still active.

Waiting is all we can do.

The scary thought is the server finally is full and no additional files can be uploaded. Hope my fears are wrong. That would mean soon we will not even be able to post responses here. :(

That would be a most unfortunate scenario indeed.
We all need to have a positive frame of mind about this issue.

I'm hoping for the best,
that these issues will soon be resolved and behind us.

Was able to upload these images above,
without getting any errors.

This doesn't mean the issue is fixed.
I also haven't heard anything from Omega yet.

Wallace - you are right it, the issue is not fixed - I just tried an upload at 06.40 Aussie Eastern Time and the error message came up immediately

Yes it's still not fixed.
Even though I'm able to upload images,
most are not able.

The typical post: 1K, the typical image: 200K. And it is likely that the database system in which the post are stored preempted some significant disk space so even if the disk is full you can still store a few thousands posts. Other things would break though (including backups....).

I hope it gets fixed soon. Yes, we can put our pix on a system like Photobucket, but it a poor option especially if it's a linked tutorial. I hate going to a site to look at a tutorial, or some other specific image, and finding the image has been deleted. I tend to avoid sites where the images are dependent on another site.

I use Imgur a lot and it works well. No need to create an account. I don't like that I can't change my avatar though. It doesn't allow external links for avatar.

Does Omega even know or care the Image uploading ability to the site is affected again?

I sent a PM to Omega on Tue May 02, 2017 5:45 pm.
As well as an e-mail that same day.

The PM hasn't been read yet and is still in my out box.
I suppose the e-mail I sent hasn't been read either.

There isn't much more I can do.
Unless you,
or anyone have a suggestion,
as to what I might do about this issue,
given my limited access to administration tools.
