If this works, maybe they could find an alternative to strapping people to large bombs to get them up there
and using earths atmosphere to slow them down for re-entry on there return

How big would it have to be to move my pickup truck? Gas isn't getting any cheaper.

Even the potential of a major leap forward in propulsion is exciting to me. Especially since it has been proven mathematically possible to achieve FTL travel. Although whether that is physically possible remains to be seen.
