Google Moog Synthesizer

Wed May 23, 2012 8:12 am

https://www.google.com/

You can click to play it, but if you want to make real music, use the QWERTY row of your keyboard for the white keys, and numbers for the black keys. The buttons and knobs work as well, and you can record and play back your masterpieces on the tape recorder! The doodle is in honor of Robert Moog‘s 78th birthday.

Shame it hasn't got an LFO or you could create some mean space sounds. If you want a minimoog emulator on your desktop, free of charge, I highly recommend this one: http://glenstegner.com/softsynths.html

Nice link, Erisian. I downloaded both MinimogueVA and Arppe2600va. Loaded them into TunaFish and had some fun. I'll have to try them later in LMMS.

I've got both too. What OS do you use? I found LMMS buggy in Windows but it worked beautifully in Fedora. I've got a ton of free VSTs so if you ever need any advice on what the best ones are, you're welcome to PM me. You might try googling B Serrano and HG Fortune for some good stuff.

By the way, these are packaged with savi host so that they can be run as standalones. If you ever want to make any VST standalone, copy the pink diamond to the same folder as the plugin and rename it to the exact name of the dll. (Minus .dll of course.)
